Spero’s Mobile Response Team provides on-the-spot assistance to individuals experiencing mental health emergencies, delivering compassionate care where and when it’s needed most. Available 24/7, our trained professionals respond to calls with a focus on de-escalation, stabilization, and connecting individuals to ongoing resources. Ready when you call

Spero’s Mobile Response Team provides prompt, in-person support in community settings. Mental health practitioners meet you at your location, or another location of your choice. They are supported by a mental health professional available by phone. They assess your situation and collaborate with you to develop a plan to resolve the crisis.

A crisis assessment is an assessment of the individual’s current state including the following areas:

  • Current life situation
  • Risky behaviors
  • Symptoms
  • Stressors
  • Means of Self-harm
  • Functioning
  • Resources

A crisis plan is a document that is developed to address actions that need to be taken in the event that the individual is experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Your plan will include the following:

  • Goals to lessen current symptoms
  • Referrals to identified service providers
  • Identified Triggers
  • Crisis Prevention Skills
  • Personal Strengths
  • Coping Skills
  • Support People

Crisis Stabilization services are supportive and individualized for an individual after a crisis episode. This includes:

  • Securing long-term supports
  • Providing mental health education
  • Aid in developing coping skills
  • Provide temporary supportive counseling

When to call the crisis hotline

Call the crisis hotline if you or a loved one are experiencing any of the following symptoms:

  • Feeling lost, overwhelmed, hopeless
  • Experiencing depression, anxiety, or a panic attack
  • Having suicidal thoughts
  • Wanting to harm yourself or others
  • Having rapid mood swings
  • Have lost touch with reality
  • At risk of being unable to care for yourself
  • Unable to function in a healthy manner
