Navigate life with expert mental health support
Spero offers a range of therapy options, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychiatry, and nursing services. Each service is designed to provide comprehensive care that addresses various mental health concerns. Our team of experienced professionals uses evidence-based methods to ensure effective treatment and support.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a widely used, evidence-based approach that helps clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors. Spero’s CBT therapists guide individuals in developing coping strategies and problem-solving skills, empowering them to make positive changes and achieve their mental health goals. Our customized CBT plans are designed to address each client’s specific challenges and needs.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a highly effective treatment designed to help individuals manage intense emotions, develop healthier relationships, and navigate stressful situations. At Spero, our DBT programs focus on four groups of skills: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Our therapists work closely with clients to develop practical strategies tailored to their unique needs, fostering resilience and a balanced approach to life.
Group Therapy
Spero’s group therapy sessions provide a supportive environment where individuals can share their experiences and learn from others facing similar challenges. Led by experienced therapists, these sessions foster a sense of community and offer valuable insights into managing mental health issues. Group therapy can enhance self-awareness, improve social skills, and build a network of support for long-term recovery. Topics and ongoing groups change often, we have something for everyone. Please call for the most current available groups.
Trauma-Focused Therapy
Trauma-focused therapy at Spero is dedicated to helping individuals heal from the effects of traumatic experiences. Our therapists employ evidence-based techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to address trauma-related symptoms. This specialized care aims to reduce distress, improve emotional regulation, and restore a sense of safety and control.
Couples and Family Therapy
We work with couples and families to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships. Our therapists facilitate sessions that address the dynamics within the relationship, helping members understand and support each other. This collaborative approach aims to create a healthier, more supportive environment for individuals struggling with mental health challenges.
Online Therapy
Spero offers online therapy services to provide convenient access to mental health support from the comfort of clients’ homes. Our secure telehealth platform connects clients with licensed therapists for individual and family sessions. Online therapy ensures continuity of care, especially for those with mobility issues or busy schedules, making mental health support more accessible and flexible.
Psychiatric Care
Spero’s psychiatry services provide comprehensive mental health assessments and personalized treatment plans. Our experienced prescribers collaborate with clients to diagnose conditions accurately and prescribe appropriate medications when necessary. We emphasize ongoing monitoring and adjustments to ensure the effectiveness of treatment, helping clients achieve stability and improved mental health over time.
Nursing Support
Our nursing support services at Spero offer an additional layer of care for clients undergoing psychiatric treatment. Our nurses and certified medical assistants are skilled in medication management, health education, and monitor clients’ physical and mental well-being. This integrated approach ensures that all aspects of a client’s health are addressed, promoting overall wellness and recovery.
Autism Assessments
We use the ADOS-2 assessment and a clinical interview to evaluate whether an individual meets the criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
